Reconnecting and Re-aligning – More Productive than Being Busy!

I have been meaning to write in this blog for a long time, but as you know, time keeps ticking along, and we have a tendency to busy ourselves with doing. Or, more honestly stated, I tend to busy myself with tasks. Things I want to do, things I think I need to do, and then things I have to do before I get to doing the things I want to do. Then, you get sick, or you take on a new project that eats up all your time, and so on.

So, as I do on most days, I woke up early to get started with my day. Because I have a day off, I clicked off my alarm clock and remained in bed–with a resolve to feel good before “getting busy” with doing. I thought of things that put a smile on my face: puppies, a field of endless flowers, blue sky, the beach, you get the idea.

Why couldn’t I stay in a state of Feel-Good?

LunaAs it turned out, I realized I had a really hard time sustaining those thoughts! Some way, some how, the feel-good thought would slide downhill into a pit of writhing, wiggling, niggling thoughts that wanted to get started with ticking away at my to-do list. (“First I could go this, but then I should make sure to do that, and before I do that, I should really…”)

Yes, checking off items from my To-Do list makes me feel accomplished. It makes me feel good. So, the Universe (actually my own manifestative Source Energy) hears that — and says, “Okay, let’s send her some more stuff to do, so she can check it off and feel good!”. So what happens?

I get more stuff to do.

Two, three or even four more ideas append themselves to my To-Do list. It’s insane, I know!

My mind and body are out of whack, because really no human body can really keep up with the speed of thinking. And when my fast-thinking thoughts take control of the wheel, my body cries, “No Mas!”

Sure enough, I have been dealing with a pesky cough for about two weeks.

It’s time for Re-alignment.

I know this is true because I am generally a healthy person. Not to mention, this information was confirmed — almost too coincidentally, when I ended up fully engrossed in the chapter called, “Perspectives of Health, Weight, and Mind” of Jerry and Esther Hicks’ The Essential Law of Attraction Collection (always in my Kindle!) when I opened up to the page I left behind months ago. (Side note: Six or so months ago, I was completely bored by this section, when my health and wellness was in perfect alignment. In fact, it is why I put the reading down.)

How to re-align? How to reconnect? I thought you’d never ask.

Immersing yourself in river Töss - photo by C.T. Luna1) First, come up with your own plan. This is so important, because it is essentially how you crystallize your contract with You. This also means that if your plan was inspired by an outside source, a good friend, the Dalai Lama (or whatever!), that’s perfectly okay. The point here is that the plan is going to be implemented by you, so it needs to jive with the tools you have in your toolbox, or the ingredients you have in your kitchen.

In my case, my plan is two-fold. First, I will take time to Feel Good when I don’t cross things off my list, as well as when I do cross things off my list. And, at the end of the day, my plan is to declare how happy I am that those things weren’t crossed off my list, because it allows the Universe to take care of it for me! (This last point is a secret double-whammy, because one of my issues involves feeling like I need to do everything for myself. So, from now on, I can let go and have an open hand to receive!)

The other part of the plan is to take more time outs and enjoy them fully–without effort! In two words: Have Fun. This means, no clocks or cell phones. It means, being fully in-the-moment, whether it’s conversing with a friend (or my sweetheart), enjoying the wait for the bus (especially when it’s cold), reading a book or meditating. It’s about noticing a moment’s spontaneity and going with it!

2) Don’t worry about your plan, just immerse yourself in it. This is your plan, this is your contract with yourself, and it is a living, breathing document (just like your Akashic Records).

Did you forget to do something in your plan? Re-write the terms of engagement and implement! For example, say you planned to spend 1-minute every hour remembering the things that made you feel good. Then, you realize you made it all the way to lunch without implementing the plan. That’s okay! Just change it to be something you can do Now that you remember! (Change it to: “With every bite that I take out of this delicious sandwich, I’ll remember one thing that made me feel good today!” Voilà!)

3) Take at least five minutes out of your day to be silent with yourself. The word “meditate” and “meditation” can be loaded with effort, but that’s essentially what being silent with yourself is. You may find that your innermost self can freely communicate with you. Listen. And feel good. Because you’re re-aligning and re-connecting.

June 2015: Akashic Forecast, Quick tips as you gear up for the Ascension

Dear Readers,

I sat down to do this reading for a June forecast and the floodgates just swung open and loads of information came pouring through. Actually, it was way more than I could have expected, and I have excerpted here only the end part when we finally came to the June forecast. Don’t worry, I won’t hold back on the other gems that were shared. Basic take-away: the Ascension is on! We need to get our rears in gear!

Your thoughts, comments and feedback are as always appreciated. Feel free to share this message in your social media and on your blogs (just provide the courtesy of pointing your readers back to yoga.livingincyn.com).

Much love and light,

Cynthia

We have been pointing you in the last couple months towards beauty. We wished for you to see beauty outside of you, and also to see how it resonated and grew inside of you. The exercises we gave you were small scale, so you could practice them while handling mundane activities: brushing your teeth, driving, even balancing your books and gardening.

“Play with cloud formations”

We hope you took care to tend to the garden in your heart, because this is where you will be cultivating everything you need to handle this Ascension.

Frankly, it’s happening now. If you have been experiencing discomforts – losing things and not being able to retrieve them – or having frustrating experiences that you can’t seem to transcend or “get over” – then we urge you to start focusing on the beauty (on the outside and inside) with fervor and passion. These are the things that will pad your way through the ride into 5D.

Let’s put it this way. We are challenging you to manifest in the Now. We are challenging you to engage with the Now with every passing now. We are challenging you to see things for what they are, observe them, and to change them while accepting them for what they are – a sense of perception that you are experiencing in your now.

Discomfort? It’s in your perception.

Let’s take a couple examples of your May, Cynthia.

A few times, on your train ride home, you would observe that the dark clouds were rolling in, and you would look out the window, observe the “reality” of the big heavy raindrops pounding away at the train window, and you would say to yourself, “I intend to get home dry today.”

You observed the “reality” of the rain without accepting it into your reality. You made it home dry every time. You didn’t have to open your umbrella once. One time you made it home realizing you didn’t even have your umbrella with you.

Same idea here. You are now in the reality of the Ascension. A reality in which you will be challenged to let go of the things you give value to – and accept that the world and others are not separate from you.

Mercury retrograde is a good example for handling this Ascension. It’s sort of a microcosmic version of the Ascension. When Mercury goes direct, you will see that it can be a smooth ride or a bumpy ride, depending on how much stock you place in the transportation or communications technologies you have at your fingertips.

Think of those friends of yours who say, “I can’t live without my smartphone” or “the internet is my life”. What a tough ride it’s going to be when the wi-fi goes on the fritz!

You will see that your internet is a helpful tool, but nothing compared to what you are truly capable of when you are riding the wave of your utmost (and ever-expanding) Light!

We really are looking forward to the moment when you do come back home and we can break bread without all this “work” that you are all so addicted to. J

Easy tip or trick for us in June?

Yes! Begin to play with your manifesting abilities. Every day, pick something that you can manifest – play with cloud formations, or images in your mind, or even a desired telephone conversation, or heck, manifest the perfect car for yourself! We want you to manifest something daily – not for us, but for you!

See you soon!

Picking the short straw on your life’s calling

A few months ago, I received word in an Akashic reading conducted by FreerSpirit.com that one of my big responsibilities during this lifetime would be in the realm of fair and transparent wealth distribution. This information really resonated with me, while at the same time putting me in a real panic about what all that really meant.

In this 3D illusion-reality, I would not be the ideal candidate for working on this. My résumé is a patchwork of experience in languages and advocacy communications — not banking and finance.

Mind you, in the work I have done, I have been committed to issues and causes that would help lead people to an understanding of the inequities in our current socio-political systems. I would find and prime spokespeople for their on-air appearances and write speeches for fundraisers… those sorts of things. All the while, I would read the newspaper and keep track of what was happening on the internet. I enjoyed my politics and economics like the next guy, but I was (am) a regular Jill — just a spectator of the show that was being played out before me.

Finding myself in the financial center of things…

And then I found out that I was actually supposed to be a player in this show…

But, Banking? Really? Little ol’ me?

Yes, really. In an email conversation with Jen, she asked me casually how this information was settling into me (that this was what my higher self had chosen for me in this lifetime). That was about a month after her initial reading — and, to sum it up in a couple of words: it wasn’t.

Jen joked with a sympathetic tone that she understood that it must feel like pulling the “short straw” and thinking “oh, damn, why couldn’t I have picked clean air and water?” And the funny thing was, while I understood what she meant, I totally realized that I couldn’t have picked clean air and water — that fair and transparent wealth distribution is really the only team I’m supposed to be on. :-)

I had been googling the words “fair and transparent wealth distribution” in my browser’s search field since that first reading. And I was discovering all sorts of interesting things. Names of banks and so-called non-government organizations kept cropping up in the issue of the status quo. These were the very same international “non-government organisations” (NGOs) that my parents had been working for during all my childhood!

These NGOs were telling us that they are doing good things for the developing world — providing loans to nations, so they could build infrastructure for development and grow their economies.

Today, we know that these very NGOs play a larger role in manipulating the power structure of the world’s various economies and politics, so that the cabal can continue to retain their dynastic reign over humanity. (For example, they are the organizations that make side-deals with independent countries to adopt policies that permit other (developed) nations to set up military bases there.)

More importantly, for me, the flame of insight started to burn more brightly. I could finally see the “logic” in choosing my family that led a borderless existence, one that exposed me to (and appreciate) so many cultures and religions that it can be difficult for me to understand how people identify with the concept of “nationality” in the separatist sense.

Okay, so I still don’t know what my next steps are to “fulfilling my destiny” or at least “living up to my purpose” — but I do know that it is up to me to respond to this calling. And I also know that I called it. Knowing this helps. A lot.

So what do I do now?

I find myself asking that question all the time lately. I wish I had a ready answer — but I think not having a ready answer is sort of the point. I am supposed to be asking myself that question. Intuitively, I’m also sensing that when the question does arise, I’m actually “supposed” to BE — and not do.

In these pauses — these moments where I put “doing” on hold and allow myself to “be” — I have found clarity of intelligence, where there is complete understanding without doubt. Only in the peace that comes in this state can I come upon all the knowledge I need to do whatever it is I’m “supposed to be” doing. When I allow myself to find silence in the “I don’t know” I allow the “Do” to be as still as the “Be”.

Therein lies my understanding of what fair and transparent wealth distribution really means: We are wealth. We are the same — we are all priceless and valuable beyond our imaginations — we are all here to save the world and save ourselves, and we all here doing exactly what we chose to do. Yes, my résumé, as strange as it appears, is the straightest (most perfect) line between what my Higher Self set out to do and what my current-reality-self is doing. And I think the same can be said for just about anyone reading this.

April 2015: Akashic Forecast, Invest in Beauty for Satisfying Returns

Welcome Readers,

Akashic Reading is completely new to me. It’s something that fell into my lap quite recently, but it has captured my (nearly) undivided attention. Over the past few weeks, I have visited my Akashic Records, and enjoyed readings on several topics that I think might not be of interest solely to me.

This time, I asked if my guides would be willing to deliver a general forecast for April 2015 for anyone who might be interested.

Thank you for visiting this blog; and feel free to comment, should you feel the urge! :-)

Cyn

P.S. Portions in bold are “my own” voice.

Small Buddhas

Can you give me a general reading for April? Maybe something for my blog?

Ah. We thought you’d never ask. 😉

Let’s discuss and present a forecast for April.

Thank you for allowing us and inviting us to talk to you about the month of April.

A color which will bring with it much power and illumination in April is lavender. This is the month to celebrate the beginning of new things.

With the strength of Mars and then the beauty of Venus, this year, April will draw you closer to things of beauty that bring with them a silent strength. Do not be fooled by this silence. The strength appears subdued, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not there – it’s just not aggressive, but still strong enough for birth and rebirth.

Themes of birth and rebirth are obvious. Easter is right around the corner and short trips are punctuated with an appreciation of small things. Details that will bear great fruit down the road.

This is also a good time to invest in something small of beauty where the rewards reaped will be great. Again, down the road. Perhaps, you might consider investing in precious metals or in stones. We even think that if you could invest in a piece of jewelry that brings you much pleasure while you look at it, this makes sense too. The point is that you should enjoy it every time you see it. That you derive strength from enjoying this thing of beauty.

Engage in the ritual of taking off that necklace or ring in the evening and looking at it and giving it a moment’s attention when you put it back on in the mornings. This is what we mean by small things of beauty bringing with them great strength. It doesn’t necessarily have to be jewelry and it doesn’t necessarily have to be something you buy in April either. Perhaps you saw an old necklace in your jewelry box that you haven’t worn in ages. If you feel it’s time to put this on, that’s because it is.

In the latter half of April you will be experiencing a jolt of energy. Perhaps from engaging in your daily appreciating exercises.

This is also the time to look at your surroundings in general and see if there are areas of your living and working space that could use a little sprucing up. Yes, we are talking about a spring cleaning, but also maybe a furniture rearrange. We would like for you to think about the flow of the energies through your current space and if it’s serving you. Maybe it’s a matter of moving a plant from one side of the room to another, or maybe this will involve moving around all of your furniture.

If you have a partner, have a sitdown in a space and see if you both can solution around the energies. After all, it still needs to be comfortable for both of you. The goal is that you wish to tap into the clearest, smoothest flow of vibration in almost every corner of your living space.

This is where you will tap into the silent strength we are talking about. We are communicating with you more and more, and you are receiving our signals clearer and clearer every day, but just like every radio signal, sometimes, that ticking clock interferes with the radio signal. What if you moved the radio? Or the couch? You see where we are headed here.

You can feel free to use any time this month to unclutter. It’s been on your mind since the full moon in March, but you still have time to do this now. Uncluttering also helps with ensuring the smoothest signal of communication – not only with yourself and your Source Energy, but it also helps in your communications with us (your guides).

For those of you looking for love…

If you do not have in this moment a significant other, don’t fret. Have fun. April is not necessarily the month for “looking for love”. There may be a few connections made, but it’s best to advance without an ulterior motive. It’s easier this way, as you may find in May there needs to be room for a quick and easy getaway or for the path to be clearer for a relationship that’s more beneficial then.

April is about making contacts. They should be enjoyed, appreciated for what they are.

Fun. Travel is also not a major theme. Pack light if you have plans to travel. Trips for this April will be best, short and sweet. More focus is on feathering your nest.

It’s a good month to get things squared away, clearing off your desk, investing in small things for big returns later.

How’s that for you?

Yeah. It’s good. Thank you.
