Reconnecting and Re-aligning – More Productive than Being Busy!

I have been meaning to write in this blog for a long time, but as you know, time keeps ticking along, and we have a tendency to busy ourselves with doing. Or, more honestly stated, I tend to busy myself with tasks. Things I want to do, things I think I need to do, and then things I have to do before I get to doing the things I want to do. Then, you get sick, or you take on a new project that eats up all your time, and so on.

So, as I do on most days, I woke up early to get started with my day. Because I have a day off, I clicked off my alarm clock and remained in bed–with a resolve to feel good before “getting busy” with doing. I thought of things that put a smile on my face: puppies, a field of endless flowers, blue sky, the beach, you get the idea.

Why couldn’t I stay in a state of Feel-Good?

LunaAs it turned out, I realized I had a really hard time sustaining those thoughts! Some way, some how, the feel-good thought would slide downhill into a pit of writhing, wiggling, niggling thoughts that wanted to get started with ticking away at my to-do list. (“First I could go this, but then I should make sure to do that, and before I do that, I should really…”)

Yes, checking off items from my To-Do list makes me feel accomplished. It makes me feel good. So, the Universe (actually my own manifestative Source Energy) hears that — and says, “Okay, let’s send her some more stuff to do, so she can check it off and feel good!”. So what happens?

I get more stuff to do.

Two, three or even four more ideas append themselves to my To-Do list. It’s insane, I know!

My mind and body are out of whack, because really no human body can really keep up with the speed of thinking. And when my fast-thinking thoughts take control of the wheel, my body cries, “No Mas!”

Sure enough, I have been dealing with a pesky cough for about two weeks.

It’s time for Re-alignment.

I know this is true because I am generally a healthy person. Not to mention, this information was confirmed — almost too coincidentally, when I ended up fully engrossed in the chapter called, “Perspectives of Health, Weight, and Mind” of Jerry and Esther Hicks’ The Essential Law of Attraction Collection (always in my Kindle!) when I opened up to the page I left behind months ago. (Side note: Six or so months ago, I was completely bored by this section, when my health and wellness was in perfect alignment. In fact, it is why I put the reading down.)

How to re-align? How to reconnect? I thought you’d never ask.

This also means that if your plan was inspired by an outside source, a good friend, the Dalai Lama (or whatever!), that’s perfectly okay. The point here is that the plan is going to be implemented by you, so it needs to jive with the tools you have in your toolbox, or the ingredients you have in your kitchen.

In my case, my plan is two-fold. First, I will take time to Feel Good when I don’t cross things off my list, as well as when I do cross things off my list. And, at the end of the day, my plan is to declare how happy I am that those things weren’t crossed off my list, because it allows the Universe to take care of it for me! (This last point is a secret double-whammy, because one of my issues involves feeling like I need to do everything for myself. So, from now on, I can let go and have an open hand to receive!)

The other part of the plan is to take more time outs and enjoy them fully–without effort! In two words: Have Fun. This means, no clocks or cell phones. It means, being fully in-the-moment, whether it’s conversing with a friend (or my sweetheart), enjoying the wait for the bus (especially when it’s cold), reading a book or meditating. It’s about noticing a moment’s spontaneity and going with it!

2) Don’t worry about your plan, just immerse yourself in it. This is your plan, this is your contract with yourself, and it is a living, breathing document (just like your Akashic Records).

Did you forget to do something in your plan? Re-write the terms of engagement and implement! For example, say you planned to spend 1-minute every hour remembering the things that made you feel good. Then, you realize you made it all the way to lunch without implementing the plan. That’s okay! Just change it to be something you can do Now that you remember! (Change it to: “With every bite that I take out of this delicious sandwich, I’ll remember one thing that made me feel good today!” Voilà!)

3) Take at least five minutes out of your day to be silent with yourself. The word “meditate” and “meditation” can be loaded with effort, but that’s essentially what being silent with yourself is. You may find that your innermost self can freely communicate with you. Listen. And feel good. Because you’re re-aligning and re-connecting.

April 2015: Akashic Forecast, Invest in Beauty for Satisfying Returns

Welcome Readers,

Akashic Reading is completely new to me. It’s something that fell into my lap quite recently, but it has captured my (nearly) undivided attention. Over the past few weeks, I have visited my Akashic Records, and enjoyed readings on several topics that I think might not be of interest solely to me.

This time, I asked if my guides would be willing to deliver a general forecast for April 2015 for anyone who might be interested.

Thank you for visiting this blog; and feel free to comment, should you feel the urge! :-)

P.S. Portions in bold are “my own” voice.

Small Buddhas

Can you give me a general reading for April? Maybe something for my blog?

Ah. We thought you’d never ask. 😉

Let’s discuss and present a forecast for April.

Thank you for allowing us and inviting us to talk to you about the month of April.

A color which will bring with it much power and illumination in April is lavender. This is the month to celebrate the beginning of new things.

With the strength of Mars and then the beauty of Venus, this year, April will draw you closer to things of beauty that bring with them a silent strength. Do not be fooled by this silence. The strength appears subdued, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not there – it’s just not aggressive, but still strong enough for birth and rebirth.

Themes of birth and rebirth are obvious. Easter is right around the corner and short trips are punctuated with an appreciation of small things. Details that will bear great fruit down the road.

This is also a good time to invest in something small of beauty where the rewards reaped will be great. Again, down the road. Perhaps, you might consider investing in precious metals or in stones. We even think that if you could invest in a piece of jewelry that brings you much pleasure while you look at it, this makes sense too. The point is that you should enjoy it every time you see it. That you derive strength from enjoying this thing of beauty.

Engage in the ritual of taking off that necklace or ring in the evening and looking at it and giving it a moment’s attention when you put it back on in the mornings. This is what we mean by small things of beauty bringing with them great strength. It doesn’t necessarily have to be jewelry and it doesn’t necessarily have to be something you buy in April either. Perhaps you saw an old necklace in your jewelry box that you haven’t worn in ages. If you feel it’s time to put this on, that’s because it is.

In the latter half of April you will be experiencing a jolt of energy. Perhaps from engaging in your daily appreciating exercises.

This is also the time to look at your surroundings in general and see if there are areas of your living and working space that could use a little sprucing up. Yes, we are talking about a spring cleaning, but also maybe a furniture rearrange. We would like for you to think about the flow of the energies through your current space and if it’s serving you. Maybe it’s a matter of moving a plant from one side of the room to another, or maybe this will involve moving around all of your furniture.

If you have a partner, have a sitdown in a space and see if you both can solution around the energies. After all, it still needs to be comfortable for both of you. The goal is that you wish to tap into the clearest, smoothest flow of vibration in almost every corner of your living space.

This is where you will tap into the silent strength we are talking about. We are communicating with you more and more, and you are receiving our signals clearer and clearer every day, but just like every radio signal, sometimes, that ticking clock interferes with the radio signal. What if you moved the radio? Or the couch? You see where we are headed here.

You can feel free to use any time this month to unclutter. It’s been on your mind since the full moon in March, but you still have time to do this now. Uncluttering also helps with ensuring the smoothest signal of communication – not only with yourself and your Source Energy, but it also helps in your communications with us (your guides).

For those of you looking for love…

If you do not have in this moment a significant other, don’t fret. Have fun. April is not necessarily the month for “looking for love”. There may be a few connections made, but it’s best to advance without an ulterior motive. It’s easier this way, as you may find in May there needs to be room for a quick and easy getaway or for the path to be clearer for a relationship that’s more beneficial then.

April is about making contacts. They should be enjoyed, appreciated for what they are.

Fun. Travel is also not a major theme. Pack light if you have plans to travel. Trips for this April will be best, short and sweet. More focus is on feathering your nest.

It’s a good month to get things squared away, clearing off your desk, investing in small things for big returns later.

How’s that for you?

Yeah. It’s good. Thank you.
